The abridged version...

Elizabeth was never going to be anything other than an actor. Except maybe something in space. Unfortunately, due to being severely dyslexic she didn't really know how this would happen as she couldn't actually read until she was 9, and since Mercury was the first planet (and she had no hope of spelling it) that was the end of her space dream. What she could do however, was listen to other kids reading stories, memorise them, and bring them to life with voices (including Russian - which is quite a feat at 9!)

Alas, a teacher discovered her trick / disability and Elizabeth eventually not only learnt how to read, but got herself a degree in Acting. (She's clearly older than 9 at this point)

What does anyone with a degree in acting who graduated into a recession do? Continue in education and hope that the government will reverse the recession and never do anything ridiculously outlandish again. She subsequently gained a scholarship into a New York acting school! (and went).

So, for the last 11 years, Elizabeth has been a professional actress & voice over artist in London. She's worked the comedy circuit, she's performed first folio Shakespeare on the Southbank, she's treaded / trod / trode the boards in the West End, and essentially, she's been on TV a bit. Not bad for a once illiterate kid from Yorkshire.
